Dear Sexism, Homophobia and Transphobia,

For the better part of modern history, you crushed freedom and pushed us away from one another. You did an absolutely outstanding job, really shutting down any attempt to change people’s minds.

I feel the need to write to you, on this very day, to inform you that one of your masterpieces is being tackled on and things are moving again. I am talking about sports. Some youngsters decided, a few years back, that they wanted something that did not exist yet: a sport in which all genders could play together as one.

Whatever you do with this information is entirely your prerogative but I cannot stress enough the importance of recognising a change in society and acknowledging that all change is not necessarily bad.
