“So then where are you going?” 

My Lord is asking me, my beloved, why are you fleeing from me?

Why then do I not see…

“Sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and Helper” 

Only He can provide me with comfort and shelter.

Who is it that I think I need?

In the end, are we not made out of the same skeletal frame. Agreed?

Where does our value lie?

It lies beneath…

“He does not look at your appearance or your possessions but He looks at your heart and deeds”

And the only heart which is worthy of being called a heart, is that which is adorned with the love of The Most High.

Unfortunate are those who let these days pass by,

“The life of this world is nothing but the enjoyment of deception”

So then it becomes incumbent to change our perception.

I ask you again, where does our value lie?

It’s placed in our good deeds, embedded in our hearts when we die.

We are all walking towards the same destination,

Which our Lord has ordained for all generations. 

So where am I going?

A question when asked should be your liberation.

I am going where we all will be free,

Where every heart yearns to be…

Where the straight path will be our righteous road,

To Paradise, our everlasting eternal abode.
