Who am i? Am I just another student in the corridor, or am I just another person on the tube making my way to work. To some I will be just a strange face, and then to some I will be a loved one, someone they care for, someone they hold with the deepest love, compassion and respect. I can be anyone to someone, or someone special to anyone.
Who am I to you? This question can take many different answers and take you, the reader, down many different paths to finally tell you who I am. However, I can be anything. I can the person with a degree in Human rights, a degree in creative writing, I can be the person who stands in line to get her lunch, or the person who gives up my seat so you can sit down on the tube. I can be the person who can touch your life in such a way, I can be the person you read twice a week, or I can still be a strange face in the crowd.
Why am I important to you? This is an answer for you to decide, whether I can be important to you or not. Whether you choose to let me in, let my opinions count for something or my beliefs shine through. This question is directed at you. I cannot tell you whether I am important or not. But I hope that I can be important to you, I hope that to someone I can be important.
Why am I writing this? This is easy for me to answer, because I know what I want to tell you. I want to tell you different things, from different perspectives each week. I want to be a student voice, the voice of an expert, the voice of someone learning something new, and the voice of someone writing about what they truly care about. I want to be that person. I am writing this to tell anyone, to tell the other students who share the corridor with me, the people I see every day on the tube both the people I stand up for and who stand up for me, to tell whoever wishes to listen to my opinion and take on things. I cannot guarantee that you will always love what I want to tell you, but I can guarantee it has the potential to be different and something more. I am writing this because I want to and because there is a growing need and importance to writing, sharing knowledge. And just like you, I am equally keen and excited to share and read the voice of opinion, feelings, beliefs and experience.
Who am i? I am anyone to someone, or I can be something more to anyone.
