That’s the movement going around
Is what Angie wants to tell her attacker.
Who is he?

She doesn’t know,
It happened at night.
She was alone;
No one to her screams

That’s what she tells herself.
Looking down at her precious child,

She is a blessing caused by horror and pain
Three years ago.
One day she’s going to ask about it,
Who her father is?

Why isn’t he here?
When that day comes
Angie will say with confidence
I am both mother and father.

When she’s older she’ll know that,
#METOO was what her mother said
Being victimised by a stranger.
#TIMESUP for when he was finally locked away.
