Dear Scribers,

I hope you are all well.

Originally this letter was supposed to be published back in November 2018, after our amazing week in St Albans. But for some reason I just kept it in the back of my draft pile (until now).

After a lot of thinking, I feel obliged to publish this letter just to thank you guy for this year-long journey. I’ve learnt a lot from each of you in the small amount of time we had together.

We’ve had long days and fun nights, with memories that I will always cherish. Never in my life did I think I would be able to connect with so many great people in such short time.

Each of you possess unique talents that I hold very closely to my heart. The amount of work that you’ve managed to produce in so many different ways is something that I admire.

With those pieces came stories that reflect some of the issues each of us deal with in our daily lives and I’m glad ScribersHive was the platform you chose to share it on.

Over the year I’ve overcome many obstacles that previously held me back, the biggest being putting my faith in people who have shown nothing but kind-heartedness to me.

It’s been a week since we completed the exhibition for ScribersHive Europe and you should all be proud by the work you put in.

Saying goodbye was probably one of the hardest things I had to do last week but I hope it isn’t a final farewell. Even though the project is complete, I hope we remain in close contact with each other.

Don’t be a stranger. If any of you find yourselves in London, give us a call and come down to the office.

With lots of love,

Samir
